Racing: the bread & butter of dashcraft. Racing is the easiest way to differentiate yourself as a high-level member of dashcraft. One way to gain recognition is by completing verified tracks in leaderboard positions. The 25 most recent verified (the entire first page and the top 10 on page 2) are utilized in the Global leaderboard on the right side of the main menu. Every world record on one of these tracks gives you 40,000 points, and lower positions give you accordingly lower point values. Other forms of racing include Contests and Leagues, both of which grant the player XP that raises their level. These levels can unlock 2 new cars, and higher league racing can unlock 2 more!

- WASD or arrow keys: accelerate, steering, and brake
- Space: drift
- R: respawn from checkpoint
- Backspace: reset from start
- 1, 2, and 3: switch camera
- Z: set respawn point (in playtest mode only)
- X: reset respawn point (in playtest mode only)
Tips[]
- Instead of holding drift, tap drift repeatedly to get a tighter line and avoid sliding out
- Try to reduce air time as much as possible
- Steer less when possible since steering causes speed loss
- Using a controller can help you be more precise with steering
